Summary

Your entries (amounts, notes, categories, budgets) are stored only on your device. We have no server and no account system.
Voice: when you tap the microphone, your phone’s built-in speech recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS) turns your speech into text. Voolah only receives the text. We do not record or store audio.
Exchange rates: the app downloads public currency rates from open.er-api.com. This request contains no personal data.
Purchases: subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Google Play / the App Store. We never see your payment details.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no selling of data.

Data on your device

Transactions, categories, budgets, recurring entries and settings are saved in the app’s private storage. They are removed when you uninstall the app. You can export your data as a CSV file at any time (Settings → Export CSV); the file is shared only where you choose.

Permissions

Microphone / speech recognition – only while you are adding an entry by voice.
Notifications – optional daily reminder at 9 pm; planned locally on the phone.
Biometrics – optional app lock; handled by your phone, Voolah never sees fingerprints or face data.
Internet – exchange rates and in-app purchases.

Children

Voolah is not directed at children under 13.
